Jenifer Nicole Longworth

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jenifer "Jen" Nicole Longworth, who departed this world on September 20, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on April 27, 1973, in Iowa, Jen lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and love for her family.

After a courageous battle with a long illness, Jen passed away peacefully in Kansas, surrounded by those who cherished her. She is now reunited with her father, Nicholas Stephenson Longworth, who preceded her in death.

Jen leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her memory: Jason Poole, her companion for 13 years; her devoted mother, Linda Parks, and stepfather John; her brother, James Parks, and his wife Helen; and her sister, Kate Goshon, and her husband Dana; and Aunt Diana Parks. Jen's presence in their lives was a gift, and her spirit will remain with them always.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Jen's life and the love she shared with those around her. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Jen will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
