Jeffrey W Cutshall

Jeffrey W. Cutshall, fondly known as Jeff, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 31, 2026, in Shawnee, Kansas, at the age of 45. Born on September 10, 1980, in Overland Park, Kansas, Jeff lived a life full of adventure and passion.

Jeff was a dedicated worker, having spent his career in the warehouse industry, specifically dealing with plastic kitchen utensils. His colleagues remember him for his strong work ethic and cheerful demeanor.

Outside of work, Jeff had a zest for life that was evident in his hobbies. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time perfecting his game. His love for the outdoors was apparent through his frequent fishing trips, where he delighted in boat fishing for bass and catfish—really any type of fishing that allowed him to connect with nature brought him joy. Additionally, he found pleasure in target shooting, honing his skills with patience and precision.

Jeff was a proud father to his son, Ethan Cutshall, born on February 1, 2007. His love and devotion to Ethan were constants in his life. Jeff was previously married to Heather Trompeter, Ethan’s mother, and although they later divorced, he cherished the family they created together. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Lucas Michael Cutshall, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Jeff is survived by his beloved son Ethan, his father Don Cutshall, and Dorothy Nispel. His friends and family will forever remember his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Amos Family Funeral Home. During this time, those who knew and loved Jeff will gather to celebrate his life and say their final goodbyes. Jeff will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
