Jary Livermore

March 15, 1963 — November 7, 2024

Kansas City

Jary David Livermore was born to James W. Livermore and Velma J. Devor on March 15, 1963 in McPherson Kansas. He was the third child of five. Jary was always lively and active with a creative flow. At age 8 Jary created a newspaper called the Live R More, (Actually backwards R), for all of us to share in. All of us kids wrote our articles, crossword puzzles and word searches and of course Jary's own comic creation, Busy Bee and Baddy Bear. From McPherson we moved to Manhattan where Jary's two youngest siblings katrina and Mike were born. From there we moved to Salina for one year before we made the jump to Oregon. Jary continued to publish his newspaper there as well. He also liked to play basketball. We lived in Oregon for 2 years. Dad's father became ill so we moved to Kansas City to be close to Jary's (our) grandparents and to help out however we could. Jary loved sports and hanging out with his friends. He also started getting more into music and found a new love with his guitar. Pam and Jary started playing music together. They started a band with Phil (who became their brother-in-law) I think that was the highlight of his life; playing music and I'm sure that's what he's doing now, playing music, playing guitar. It was always great to see our favorite bands together, Rush, Kansas, Yes, Pink Floyd and many more. He was always kind and giving with compassion unending. I miss the days when mine and Phil's kids were young and Uncle Jary would join us in our family outings; swimming, birthday parties, especially at Jungle Jim's, and of course holiday fun. He always had a loving heart with the best intentions for all. In his later days, he spent much of his time with his mother and oldest sister Jean as they supported each other in their daily lives. We think he fulfilled his mission in life with the creation of his wonderful music and support of his family.

Jary is survived by his mom, Velma J. Harrington, his siblings, Jean C. Livermore, Pamela R. Livermore, Katrina M. Broz and Mike E. Livermore, his nieces and nephews, Ben Koontz, Ean Broz, Matthue Koontz, Samantha Broz, Mike Livermore, Jon Koontz, Isaac Broz, Sara Price, Jasmine Holthaus, Vivi Livermore. Jary is also survived by his grandnieces and grandnephews, Lilly, Kelsey, Raynen, Savanah, Brooklyn, Eunique, Emma, Eric, Harlon, Cameron, Margot and 1 on the way. And one great grand niece, Isabell

God Bless You And Keep You! We praise and thank you Jesus for taking our brother/son/friend on his new journey with you and your heavenly hosts. Rock On Jary!!! May your music be heard throughout the Universe!

Phil's: "Jary's guitar he loved to shred but where he's going he'll be playing a harp instead!"
