Hubert L. Bridges, 84, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Hubert was preceded in death by his parents Charles F. and Susie Bridges, one sister Lillie Mae Davis, and two brothers Levi Bridges and an infant brother. Survivors include his wife Frances of the home, one daughter Linda Ahrens, Olathe, Kansas; and one son Wayne L. (Kathleen) Bridges, three grand children and four great grandchildren. Hubert was a member of the Meat Cutters Local #2 and was employed at numerous grocery stores throughout the Kansas City area.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 22, 2008 at The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time with burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas
