Hendrik Moonen, 65, of mission, KS, passed away, Friday, January 22, 2016.
Hendrik was born July 8, 1950 in Antwerp, Belgium to Henri and Martha (Heymans) Moonen. He retired from Sprint as a project manager. He was a volunteer at the WW I Museum in Kansas City.
He is survived by his wife, Lekha Sreedhar; his children, Kris (Cindy Sommerijns) Moonen, Raf (Wendeline Jacobs) Moonen, and Sara Moonen; his step-son, Arjun Nair; Godson, Bart Moonen; grandchildren, Niel Moonen, and Ceres Moonen and his siblings, Jos Moonen, Gaby Moonen, Magda Moonen, and Rita Moonen.
Services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, January 31, at the Amos Family Funeral Home with a visitation preceding the service beginning at 12 p.m.
