Helen Louise “Pabby” Crafton

Helen Louise "Pabby" Crafton, 75, Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas.

Helen was born April 30, 1927, in Sedalia, Missouri, to Cecil and Mabel Self. On May 11, 1957, Helen married William Elmer Crafton in Sedalia, Missouri.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Junior Self and husband, William. Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Dale) Campbell, Kansas City, Kansas; two sons, Bill (Rhonda) Crafton, De Soto, Kansas and Tom Crafton, Kansas City, Kansas; sister, Ruth (Tom) Schwering, Glensted, Missouri; two brothers, Kenneth (Peggy) Self, Blue Springs, Missouri, and Richard (Mary) Self, Lee's Summit, Missouri; five grandchildren, Sandra (Damon) Greenamyer, April Crafton, Jason Campbell, William Crafton and Anthony (Nichole) Crafton; and two great grandsons, Aiden and Owen Greenamyer.

Helen will be laid to rest, with her best friend George (pet), in Roan Inish, Ireland.

Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 5-6:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
