George Bowman Miller, 91, Shawnee, Kansas, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away at home March 3, 2010.
George was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Ruth, a daughter Susan Flannagan, and a son Jack Miller. Survivors include two daughters Jill Ballina, Alexandra, Virginia and Julie (Bruce) Nickel, Houston, Texas; one sister Lura Hammitt, Pittsfield, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Ammie (Mike) Aldrich, James (Connie) Yearsley, Mike (Sandy) Yearsley, Scott (Carol) Miller, Melissa (Bill) Barkemeyer, Michael and Evan Flannagan, Meagan and Ryan Nickel, and 17 great- grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Funeral Service
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee with burial to follow in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas.
