GeGe Rieke, 69, of Lake Quivira, KS, passed away, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Olathe Hospice House.
GeGe was born in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and Lake Quivira Country Club. She was an avid golfer and bridge player. She loved spending time at Lake of the Ozarks.
GeGe was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Rieke. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Leon M. Rieke; a daughter, Leona Young and her husband, Mark, and daughter, Aspen; a son, Derrick, his spouse, Christopher Webb, and their children, Blake and Chase; Theresa's children, Erica, Briana, and Dylan; and a brother, Larry Johnson.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2016, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with entombment in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m., Thursday at the Amos Family Funeral Home.
The family suggests contributions to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
