Frank A. Love II, aged 88, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 5, 2026, in Mission, Kansas. He was born on December 10, 1937, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Frank Love Sr. and Jennie Sisson Love.

Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who dedicated his life to his country, family, faith, and passions. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Suellen Jennings Love of Mission, Kansas; his son Andy Love and his wife Karen of Shawnee, Kansas; his daughter Lynne Torpy and her husband Dan of Denver, Colorado; as well as his cherished grandchildren Ethan Torpy, Allie Cole and her husband Alex, Elise Torpy, and Anderson Love. Frank also leaves behind his adored great-granddaughters Ellie Cole and Emma Cole.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank Love Sr. and Jennie Sisson Love of Memphis, Tennessee and his sister Marilyn Love Rogers of Great Falls, Montana.

Frank served in the U.S. Air Force for one year in active duty and continued his service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for seven years. Outside of the military, he had a distinguished career as the Director of Engineering and Operations at Kimberly-Clark Inc., where he was known for his commitment and expertise. He held degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Mississippi and electrical engineering from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. A proud alumnus, Frank remained an avid supporter of the Ole Miss Rebels throughout his life, actively following their football team recruiting and always eager to discuss ways to better the team.

His faith was central to his life, and he served as a Deacon and Elder at the East Cobb Church of Christ in Marietta, Georgia. Later, he became a member of the Southpoint Church of Christ community in Kansas City.

Frank had a passion for golf, playing courses around the world, particularly treasuring his time on the storied courses of Scotland. He was an accomplished golfer who enjoyed reflecting on each shot he played. In addition to golf, he loved baseball and cheered fervently for the Kansas City Chiefs.

A service to honor and celebrate Frank's life will be held at the Southpoint Church of Christ on Tuesday, May 12, at 11 a.m. Friends and family are welcome to join in remembering a remarkable man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion.
