Finis E. Hammons, 95, of Shawnee, KS, passed away, Sunday, November 16, 2014.
Finis was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was an elevator constructor and retired to the farm outside of Dunnegan, MO.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Lee. He is survived by his wife, Lois, a son, Jim (Vickie) Hammons, a daughter, Connie (Magnus) Lindquist, three grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Visitation will be 12 - 1 p.m., Thursday with funeral services following at 1 p.m., at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pittsville, MO.
Contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
