Fern R. Carter Stone, 91, Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009 at her home. Fern was born September 23, 1917 at her home in Zarah, Kansas to Miles Robert and Margaret (Leeker) Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Stone, II, her beloved parents, and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Suzann L. and Gene Maloney, Chandler, Arizona; son, Mike and Carol Carter, Carrollton, Missouri; step-daughter, Marilyn and Mark Kessler, Denver, Colorado; step-son, Lawrence and Janie Stone, Mission Hills, Kansas; ten grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
The family request no flowers.
Graveside Service
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8 at Monticello Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas.
