Everett Alan Childs, age 68, Olathe, KS passed away suddenly January 3, 2018 at home. Everett was born June 22, 1949 in Hutchinson, KS the oldest of six children.
He attended Wichita State University, and graduated with a degree in music education.
On May 22, 1971 he married Beth Bradshaw. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed a long career working in the sporting goods industry on a national level.
He is survived by his wife, Beth, son and daughter-in-law Adam and Jessica (Oak Park, IL), grandchildren Lafayette, Evelyn, and Hazel, and daughter Piper (Olathe, KS).
A Memorial Service is set for 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Old Mission United Methodist Church, 5519 State Park Road, Fairway, Kansas 66205.
