Evelyn Bessie Levens, 101, of Wellsville, Kansas passed away January 2, 2020 at Olathe Hospice House.
Evelyn was born April 27, 1918 in Independence, Kansas to William and Hazel Schaid. Evelyn met her husband Edward and they married in 1941. They were married for 59 years until his passing in 2001. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers and a granddaughter. She is survived by her son Dale and his wife Valerie Levens; daughter Lynda Eckerman; as well as nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Hospice House 15310 Marion St. Olathe, KS 66061.
