Eugene LaViolette, 88, of Shawnee, KS, passed away, Monday, January 18, 2016 at his home.
Eugene was born in Green Bay to Isadore and Stella (Olejniczak) LaViolette and graduated from Central Catholic High School. He retired from International Harvester & J. I. Case. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marolyn (Dobratz) LaViolette; sons, David, of Minneapolis, MN, Dean, of New Orleans, LA, and Daniel, of Shawnee, KS; a daughter, Dawn (Mike) Ramsey, Overland Park, KS; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 22 at the National Cemetery Leavenworth, KS.
