Elizabeth Shepherd, 61, of Lenexa, KS, passed away, Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Betty was born in Kansas City, MO to Harold and Gertrude Kievlan. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She is survived by her husband, John Shepherd, Albuquerque, NM; siblings, Susan (Jim) Witteman, Barb (Jim) Fowler, Cathy (Duane) Poss, Patti (Bill) Keeley, Tom (Wan) Kievlan, and Peggy (Mitch) Gayler; 15 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the University of Kansas Medical Center for their compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 8, at the Amos Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Rock at Noon Day, www.noondayministries.org Albuquerque, NM, C/O the funeral home.
