Elizabeth Andrea Gray, 73, of Shawnee Kansas passed on to her eternal home on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 pm, with funeral services to immediately follow 6:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, KS. Graveside services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 14th at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Known as Andrea to all her friends and family, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved gardening, riding her bike, traveling, and reading. Andrea was a hard-worker and supporter of her children and grandchildren.
Andrea is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Gray, son, Will Floyd, and daughter Allison Gray Howell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Darrell Jones of Shawnee Kansas. She leaves a legacy through her grandchildren, Paige, Evan, Luke, Zoe, Phynoix, Cate, Pharrah, Phoebe, Immanuel, Matthew, and a new grandbaby on the way in September, as well as one great-grandson, Layton. Her brother Duffy Barton, his wife Lisa and their sister Mary also survive Andrea.
Her memory lives on in all her family and many friends, and we are comforted by the word of God, which says, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:1-3 ESV
