Dorothy Hovel

Dorothy is now at peace with the Lord, awaiting the day when death will be defeated, once and for all. Dorothy, age 90, entered her rest July 9, 2011.

Dorothy was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She spent the last 20 years of her working life as a Houseparent, with her late husband William, for the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She loved music, singing in the church choir and arts and crafts.

Those continuing their journey: son Lee Hovel (Cathie), grandchildren, Aaron (Nellie), Sarah (Drew), great grandchildren, Spencer, Graham, Luke and Bowen, sister, Betty Young and brother Frank Bowen of Baltimore.

Visitation and Memorial Service

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July14, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mission Kansas. Friends may call from 2:00-3:00 p.m. and after the service.
