Dorothy was united in marriage to Ronald J. Beletsky on February 6, 1954, at Mooney Creek Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald, on March 23, 1991; her parents, Albert and Lucy Noll; her sister, Lucille Noll; and her brothers, Richard, Robert, Joseph, Lloyd, and Leonard.
She is survived by her son, Bernard J. Beletsky (Renee) of Merriam, Kansas; her daughter, Mary E. Cooper (Randy) of Clearwater Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Nick, Lindsey, Christopher, Bridgett, and Danny; and six great-grandchildren, Raef, Charlotte, Levi, Jack, Luke, and Monte. She is also survived by her sister, Rita Farmer (Dick); her brother, Harold; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Dorothy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was bringing her family together. She especially loved hosting family dinners, where everyone gathered around one table to enjoy the homemade meals she spent all day preparing — at least until she discovered Boston Market. No birthday was ever forgotten, as Dorothy faithfully sent birthday cards to each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren every year.
She found pure happiness watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren run through her large backyard, surrounded by the beautiful garden she lovingly tended. Dorothy also enjoyed peaceful walks through the cemetery, treasured her devotion to the St. Joseph Chapel, and was well known among family and friends for making the world’s best orange Jell-O salad. She also had a legendary love for ice cream — and anyone who knew Dorothy knew you would never meet someone who loved ice cream more.
Dorothy was also the queen of never ordering French fries for herself, yet somehow always managing to steal a few from everyone else’s plate. It was one of the many little things her family will forever smile about and remember fondly.
Dorothy worked for Continental General Insurance Company for 39 years before retiring in 2004. She also worked part-time at Sharon Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility for eight years before retiring in 2019.
