Dorothy L. Barksdale, 91, Shawnee, KS passed away February 22, 2017 at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa, KS..
Dorothy was born July 2, 1925 in Waverly, KY to Joseph and Bessie Raley. On April 5, 1941, Dorothy married Ralph L. Barksdale in in Waverly, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Barksdale on March 28, 2005. Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Malay and husband, Robert; son, Joseph Leroy Barksdale and wife, Opal, all of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery
