Donna Louise Patterson, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 85. Born on April 23, 1940, in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, Donna brought light and joy to everyone who knew her.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Patterson, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life; her sister, Kathleen Harris; and her parents, Vince and Marietta Harris.
Donna’s legacy lives on through her sons, John Patterson (Jen), Mike Patterson (Kelley), and Jeff Patterson; her five grandchildren, Ian Patterson (Lacy), Ali Thole (Greg), Sammy Patterson, Sophia Patterson, and Isabella Patterson; and her five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Jim Harris (Joanne), Maureen Mitchell (Wayne), Suzanne Richey, and Mike Harris (Pamela).
Donna found great joy in golfing at Milburn Country Club, where she spent many delightful days sharing laughter and camaraderie with friends and family. She was especially proud of her hole-in-one, a memory she loved to share with everyone.
Above all, her most treasured moments were those spent with her family, to whom she was deeply devoted. She made every holiday magical and was always present at each sporting event, recital, and school milestone, celebrating each joy alongside her loved ones.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held on April 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cure of Ars Catholic Church. A live stream will be available at www.cureofars.com/funeral.
