Donna Sue Gray

Donna Sue Gray, 48, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her home with her daughters.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Mae Thornton, and is survived by her father Floyd Thornton, Lake Ozark, Missouri; two daughters, Tricia Gray , Shawnee, Kansas and Terra Gray , Kansas City, Missouri; former husband and friend, John Gray, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Lindy (Max) Thomas-Mirot, Fon du Lac, Wisconsin; Debbie Thornton, Lake Ozark, Missouri; one brother, Keith Thornton, Lake Ozark, Missouri; and one special Grandson Cainen Manis-Gray, Shawnee, Kansas.

Donna would have wanted to give special thanks to Robin Hughes of Shawnee, Kansas for all her dedication and time in helping keep her comfortable and cared for throughout their friendship, as well as RoAn Rangel, Olathe, Kansas and her sister Lindy Thomas-Mirot, for all their moral support.

Visitation and Celebration of Life

Visitation will be held from 2-4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009 at The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Following the chapel service the family will celebrate her life and greet friends at the Gray’s family home, 5911 Noland Road.
