Don H. Worthington

Don Herbert Worthington, Age 79, resident of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away, August 22, 2013 at Lakeview Village. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, January 8, 1934 the Son of Frank and Caroline Worthington. Don attended Ottawa High School and graduated from the College of Emporia. He spent his career working as a research chemist at Cook Paint and Varnish Company. Don was a very active member of the Overland Park Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the US Army. Don is survived by siblings Margaret Winters, Joan Markman (Bill Markman) and Charles Worthington; children David Worthington (Nancy Worthington), Amy Rowson (Randy Rowson), Darin Worthington (Marianne Worthington) and their mother Jean Nichols; and grandchildren Dane Worthington, Emma Worthington, Caroline Rowson & Maxwell Rowson.

Memorial Service

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25th 2013, 4pm at the Overland Park Presbyterian Church (8029 Overland Park Dr., Overland Park, KS).
