Dick L. Moorefield, 69 of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away January 11, 2011.
Dick was born October 25, 1941. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a proud member of American Legion Post #370 of Overland Park.
He is survived by his wife Dolores of 40 years; son Brian Moorefield of Spring Hill, Kansas; daughter Joann Myers and husband Zach of Overland Park, Kansas; and four grandchildren: A.J., Sam, Paige, and Parker Meyers.
Memorial donations may be made to Johnson County Kansas 4-H or to the American Legion Post #370 in care of Amos Family Funeral Home.
Visitation and Memorial Service
A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Central Nazarene Church, 12600 W. 87th Street, Lenexa, Kansas. A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. also at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
