Diane Sue (Nelson) Courbat, 71, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2015 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Diane was born October 21, 1943 to Melvin & Marian (Geiger) Nelson, in Waverly, Iowa. Diane was a retired RN, and had also worked in the financial industry for many years. She is survived by her mother Marian Nelson-Grimes of Battle Creek, MI, her brother Steve Nelson, her daughter Christine Courbat-Garner and two grand-daughters Lily Celeste & Audrey Graeme Garner, of Prairie Village, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her father Melvin, and her brother Michael James Nelson.
