Dennis R. "Rusty" Berard, 62, of Morris, Illinois and formerly of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning April 8, 2010, at Hines Veterans Hospital, Hines, Illinois.
He was born on February 2, 1948 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dennis enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on April 20, 1966, serving one tour of duty in Vietnam and was honorably discharged on April 20, 1970. He then married Virginia J. "Ginny" Huff on April 15, 1967 in Los Angeles, California.
Dennis is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Ginny Berard of Morris, Illinois; two sons, Robert, fiancé, Amy Nolte, Berard, Morris, Illinois, and Ronald, Tiffany Berard, Valdosta, Georgia.
Visitations and Memorial Service
The family will receive friends on Saturday April 17, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
