Debra Jean Ruiz, age 56 of Merriam, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013.

Debra is survived by her mother, Marilyn Elliott; her brother, Steve Elliott; son, Daniel Ruiz; granddaughter, Corelly; son & daughter, Mike & Christina Jeffery; grandchildren, Kaden, Michael, Jr., Marilynne; and many other family, friends, and neighbors.

The Jeffery-Elliott family wishes to thank all the wonderful healthcare providers & KU Med for treating Mom with dignity, repect, & compassion through her battle with cancer.

Visitation and Service

A visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Amos Family Funeral Home. A graveside service, with Minister Stacey Shepard officiating, will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Norwood, Missouri.
