Debbie Heitman

Deborah "Debbie" Lynnann Heitman, born on December 2, 1962, in Atchison, Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, in Kansas City, Kansas, at the age of 63. Debbie's life, though ended too soon due to pneumonia, was marked by her warmth, dedication, and love for family and friends.

Debbie spent her career as an Office Clerk in the telecommunications industry, where she was known for her diligence and helpful nature. Outside of work, she found joy in her hobbies, particularly scrapbooking, through which she beautifully preserved memories and moments for herself and her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marvin Fitzpatrick Sr. and Kathryn Fitzpatrick. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family: her son, William Heitman; her daughter, Adora Heitman; her sister, Annette Aulthouse; her brother, Marvin Fitzpatrick Jr; her niece, Amanda Aulthouse; her niece, Rachelle Aulthouse; her niece, Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick; her nephew, Michael Fitzpatrick.

A visitation to celebrate and remember Debbie's life will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home on Saturday, September 12th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor her memory, share stories, and find solace in one another's company.

Debbie will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love for her family, and the gentle impact she made on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
