David Shayne Bailey

June 15th, 1964 to October 11th, 2024

David passed away in his home October 11, 2024. He is survived by his children Alyssa Tyrl (Zach) and Alex Bailey (Katie); Brother Rusty DeBey (Lisa), Sister Amy Landis (Mitch) and Julie Byers (David), nieces and nephews and many cousins as well as extended family.

David loved his family. His greatest pride was his children. David was an avid hunter and loved to cook. Every year he looked forward to Memorial Day weekend and traveling to Indianapolis with family and friends to see the running of the Indy 500. David also enjoyed live music and dancing, gardening, photography, and genealogy. David was a firefighter for more than 20 years. He had great passion for the job, the community, and the brotherhood. David retired to Colorado as he loved the outdoors and the mountains. David will be missed by his family and many, many friends.

Services Saturday, October 19th, 2024: Visitation: 2-4PM Service: 4PM

David will be laid to rest in Price Cemetery in Winigan, MO.
