Daniel “Dan” Lynn Renaud, 70, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Born on May 22, 1955, in Herrin, Illinois, Dan was known for his strong work ethic, high moral character, and willingness to help anyone in need. He spent 35 years as a Combine Product Specialist with International Harvester, where he took great pride in his work and was honored to be listed on a patent—a testament to his expertise and dedication.
Dan enjoyed hunting, keeping his yard immaculate, and being the kind of neighbor everyone hopes for—always ready to lend a hand. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Renaud; his children, Bradley (Molly) Renaud, Bill (Mary) Renaud, and Crystal (Tim) Day; his grandchildren, Jakob, Jackson, and Mercedes; and great-granddaughter Wrenley. He is also survived by his siblings, Diane (Bill) Schilling, Marilyn Corse, and David Renaud.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Rosa Lee Renaud, and his brother, Mark Renaud.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, Kansas.
