Daniel Carl McConnaughy, 58, of Olathe, KS, passed away on March 19, 2017. He was born on Feb. 22, 1959, in Hutchinson, KS, to James C. McConnaughy and Theda C. McConnaughy (Thedinger). Dan is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie McConnaughy; children, Melissa (Spencer) Christiansen, Amanda (Alex) Herring, Morgan (Derek) Wixson, Eric (Cassie) Hochstatter; Mother, Theda Compton; Step Father John Compton; 8 siblings; 1 step sister ; and 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 am at Queen of the Holy Rosary, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, KS 66204. Funeral Mass will start at 10:30 am on Thursday.
