Dale Eldon Hopkins

Dale Eldon Hopkins passed away in his home on May 1st, 2015. Dale was born on Oct. 6th, 1930 in Lincoln, NE. He graduated from the Univ. of Nebraska in 1952. Dale lived in Lincoln, NE until transferring with his company in 1992 to Mission, KS. He retired from Goldblatt Tool, Co. after 20 years where he worked in accounting. Dale was an accomplished organist, playing the organ for over 50 years, and 7 years of classical piano training. He played professional concerts in Johnson County, KS. Along with his music, Dale loved travel, reading of biographies of directors, composers, and band leaders. He was an avid learner of new things, taking in the computer at age 75. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Emma Hopkins, the love of his life, Katherine M. Naylor in 2009. He leaves behind Katherine's daughter and his good friend Karen Naylor Armstrong.
