Crandall L. Vail, 87, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away January 11, 2014.

He was born September 17, 1926, in Somerville, Massachusetts, to Leonard and Autta Vail. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was united in marriage to Ruth Beede on April 5, 1952, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Crandall is survived by his wife Ruth Vail, daughters; Sharon (Bruce) Page, Evelyn Vail, Merrilee (Robert) Berndt, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation and Memorial Service

Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Lenexa Central Nazarene Church. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2014, also at the church.
