Colonel Elgie C. Luse Retired U.S. Army, 96, passed away on November 17, 2014. He was born October 12, 1918 in Easton, Kansas to Charles D. and Maggie Luse. Elgie is survived by his daughters; Karla E. Mauck and Brenda M. David, grandchildren; Larry Mauck, Michelle David, Sheri Bechtel, Melissa Owen, Nicole David-Pennington, Misty Collene, sixteen great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren. Elgie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elva Mae, son, David P. Luse.
Services
A Visitation has been scheduled for 12:00 - 1:00 PM, Monday November 24, 2014 at the Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a Funeral Service immediately following at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Leavenworth National Cemetery
