Colette L. Mayse

Colette Lucille Mayse, 88, of Mission, KS, passed away April 2, 2016. She was born Dec. 20, 1927, Atchison, KS, to Henry and Catherine (Seeger) Baker. Colette married Spencer P Mayse, of St. Joseph, MO, Sept. 4, 1948. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Colette is preceded in death by, husband, Spencer P. Mayse, along with sisters; Charlotte Chase, Mary Alice Snyder, and Katherine Freund and brothers; Martin Baker, Raymond Baker, Maurice Baker, Gerald Baker and Tom Baker. She is survived by sons; Barney (Carol Dale) Mayse, Tom (Karen) Mayse, and Larry (Tricia) Mayse, sister; Helen Wright, brothers; Al Baker, Frank Baker and Dick Baker, grandchildren; Sara Donnelly, Rus Mayse, Samantha Mayse, Sean Mayse and Ryan Mayse and great-grandchildren; Aubree Mayse and Brynn Donnelly.

Visitation at Amos Family Funeral Home, Friday, April 8, 5:00-6:30 pm with Rosary starting at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 9, at 10 am St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson, Mission, KS 66202. Burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
