Clifford Allan Eller passed away January 27, 2023 at his home in Overland Park, Kansas. He was the son of Franklin Allan Eller and Ida Rodney Eller.
Clifford was born on December 16, 1934 in his home in Neosho, Missouri. He had a very loving and adventurous childhood in a rural farming community.
He graduated from Southwest Baptist College with a degree in accounting and completed his Bachelors in Business Administration from Kansas University. He had a passion for numbers and business. His career focused in the areas of finance and computer programming.
Clifford grew up in a Christian home and raised his children with the same Christian values. He was a member and deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Lenexa, Kansas.
Clifford was married to Ruby Erlene Heyenbrock on June 1, 1957. They settled in to the Westport area of Kansas City and began their careers. Later they moved to Overland Park, KS and adopted two children. Cliff and Ruby especially enjoyed Friday game nights with family and friends. They had sixty-six years of marriage before Ruby passed away in January of 2022.
He Is survived by his sister, Margie Eller Fry of Louisville, KY. He was the loving father to Steve Eller and his wife Lorelle Eller of Overland Park, KS and their children Zachary and Ashley Eller, his daughter, Linda Paffen of Overland Park, KS and her children, Dustin Johnson, Megan Wagner, Brandon Wagner, Quinton Wagner and Aiden Paffen. Clifford also has five great grandchildren, James, Emily, Julianna, Adrianna and Andrew.
Clifford was always the hardest worker, even as his illness progressed, he could not help but add another project to his lifelong “to do list.” He loved gardening and caring for the family farm. He was known for his compassion and kindness to others.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11am, with a funeral service starting at 11am, on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Clifford will be laid to rest at the Concordia Baptist Cemetery in Concordia, Missouri at 2 pm after the service.
