Cheryl Ann Steele

Cheryl Ann Steele, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home on September 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Cheryl was born on October 4, 1962, the daughter of the late Alvin and Melva Shipley. She was one of four siblings and is lovingly remembered by her brothers Randy and Daryl. She was preceded in death by her brother Shane.

Cheryl is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Kevin Robling, and their children: KJ Robling and his wife Kayla, Ashley and her husband Doug, and Tyler and his wife Karli. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Landen, Carter, Ryan, Gracyn, Easton, Alonzo, and Amelia — all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Cheryl spent most of her career working for the Cass County Health Department until her retirement.

Cheryl and Kevin shared a deep love for their family and found true happiness in watching their grandchildren grow and play sports. Known for her animated storytelling, Cheryl had a gift for bringing even the smallest moments to life with her expressive voices and reenactments. She had a playful spirit, always ready with a clever prank or a well-timed startle, much to the amusement of her loved ones.

Cheryl’s warmth, humor, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday September 18th at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
