Cheryl "Joy" Tallant

Cheryl Joy "Joy" Tallant, born on December 6, 1961, in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Paola, Kansas, at the age of 62. Her passing was unexpected.

Joy was preceded in death by her beloved step-sister, Bonnie Taylor-Weise; her aunts, Verla Sullivan and Erliene Brunkau; her parents, Kenneth Taylor (step-father), D T. Stayton (father), and Roma Taylor (mother). 

She is survived by her loving family: her sister, Joyce Ball, and her husband Ken; her brother, Dean Stayton; her step-brother, Glenn Taylor, and his wife Becky; her step-sister, Gina Tanner, and her husband Tony. She also leaves behind her niece, Laura Ball; her nephew, John Ball, and his wife Cheryl; and her nephew, Ryan Weise, and his wife Laura.

A small service will be held with immediate family to honor her life and bid farewell.
