Charlene Ann Ross, 71, Shawnee, KS passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, KS.
Charlene was born August 24, 1946 in Omaha, NE to Chas and Ruth Eckley.
Charlene is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wayne Niemeyer. She is survived by her husband, Michael Ross; two sons, Chris (fiance’, Christine Owens) Eckley, Leavenworth, KS and Shane (Kristy) Eckley, Olathe, KS; two sisters, Noretta Glup, Tekamah, NE and Sue Eckley, Waverly, NE; brother, David Eckley, Omaha, NE; and three grandchildren, Christian Eckley, Sophia and Lily Eckley.
Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Amos Family Funeral Home, Shawnee, KS. Burial in the Tekamah Cemetery, Tekamah, NE.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
