Carl R. Tripp, 70, of De Soto, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011.
Carl was born April 10, 1941, to Carl C. and Pansy Tripp in Pittsburg, Kansas. Carl graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1959. On August 1, 1959 he married Teresa VanBecelaere.
Carl a devoted family man was preceded in death by his son Rick in 1995 and survived by his wife Teresa; sons Tommy Tripp and Curt Tripp; daughter Karla Stephens and husband Scott; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 12800 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, Kansas, with Mass following at 11 a.m. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
