Bruce Martin Steele, affectionately known to many as "Mr. Clean," passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 16, 2026, in Olathe, Kansas. Born on January 6, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, Bruce lived a vibrant 77 years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Bruce was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Above all else, he loved his family and friends. He had a way of making people feel welcome and was always ready to enjoy a good time, share a laugh, and make memories with the people around him. His love for those closest to him was evident in the time he spent with them and in the memories he created throughout his life. He enjoyed playing games, golfing, throwing darts, managing his fantasy football team, and countless evenings spent competing, laughing, and sharing stories with friends and family.

Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Steele, and his beloved daughter, Anna Steele. He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory forward: his mother, Betty Rich; his former wife and mother of his children, Carolyn Steele; his daughters, Jessica Harn (Matthew Harn) and Loren Britt (Matthew Britt); his cherished grandchildren, Cooper Harn, Benjamin Harn, Audrey Galbraith, Madilynn Britt, Caleb Britt, and Daxton Britt; his brothers Don Steele and Robert D. Steele; and several nieces.

Bruce will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of family, cherished friendships, sense of fun, and ability to enjoy life. His love and the countless memories he created will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

A private family burial will take place on Friday, August 21st. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at Lumpy's Bar in Olathe, Kansas, on Saturday, August 22nd, from 2-4 PM, to share stories, laughter, and fond memories of Bruce.
