Brenda G. Tabor

Brenda G. Tabor, 62, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas.

Brenda was born November 6, 1949, in Brendan, Florida. She was a graduate of UMKC and JCCC. Brenda married Donald Tabor on June 24, 1967, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was employed with ESIS of Overland Park, Kansas, for 26 years.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 43 ½ years, Donald, on January 1, 2010. Survivors include her two sons, Douglas (Debra) Tabor, Kansas City, Kansas and Bryan Tabor, DeSoto, Kansas; brother, Jesse Ray (Peggy) Altman, Mayo, Florida; and five grandchildren, Kaela, Hannah, Wesley, Ciara and Austin.

Visitation will be 10-11:00 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by service at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be 1:30 pm, Tuesday in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
