Billy Snider, 90, of Overland Park, KS, passed away, Sunday, January 5, 2020.
Mr. Snider was born March 3, 1929 in Monett to Marion and Judy Sullivan Snider.
He married Shirley Mae Johnson and they moved to the Kansas City area in 1959. He was an Army veteran.
He worked as a meat cutter for Van's Grocery Store in Shawnee for over 30 years.
His wife, Shirley, died, May 1, 2009. He is survived by a daughter, Wanda Howard; a son, Tommy Snider; three siblings, Bernice, Frieda and Freddy; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Friday at the IOFF Cemetery in Monett, MO.
