Berniece L. Wells-Pflumm

Berniece Louise Wells-Pflumm, age 73, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on April 27, 2026, at Azria Health Olathe.

Berniece was born on September 24, 1952, in Kansas City, Kansas, to John E. and Waneta B. Myers. She grew up in Shawnee, Kansas, and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School.

She worked as a car saleswoman and was well known as “Queen Bea.” Berniece enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She is survived by her children, Patrick Wells; Mike (Vikki) Wells; and Christina Wyman; her grandchildren, Catilynn, Ethan, and Breanna Fowler; Zoe Wells; Sierra Cauthorn; and Julieanne King; her great-grandchild, Zane Cauthorn; her sister, Faye Laird; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Myers and Shirley Myers; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean M. Wells; her second husband, Frank Pflumm Jr.; her son, Bryan Scott Wells; her parents, John E. and Waneta B. Myers; and her siblings, John A. Myers, Alice J. Burch, and David E. Myers.

A celebration of life will be held on May 17, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Peter Sterling Smith American Legion Post 327, located at 6521 Nieman Rd., Shawnee, KS 66203.
