Asher Gray Arcand, 9, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Asher was born November 5, 1999, in Merriam, Kansas, to Alan and Tonya (Gray) Arcand. He was in the third grade at Horizon Elementary School. Asher enjoyed playing drums and was currently taking lessons.
He is survived by his parents, Alan and Tonya Arcand; brother, Austin Arcand; grandparents, Carol and Charles Gray and Bernadette (Arcand-Smith) and Bob Smith all of Shawnee, Kansas; aunts and uncles, Steve Gray, Charl and Danly Rold, and Elizabeth and Jeff Williams; cousins, Anna Rold, Lauren Williams, Shawn and Steven Gray.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, February 5 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Cremation will follow the services.
