Ana Raquel Prieto, 95, Lenexa, KS (formerly of Clearwater, KS) passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at the Delmar Gardens of Lenexa, KS.
Ana was born July 26, 1919 in Havana, Cuba to Guillermo and Guillermina Menendez. She was united in marriage to Laureano A. Prieto in Havana on Feb. 27, 1946, who preceded her in death on July 29, 2009.
Survivors include her son, Jorge A. (Juanita) Prieto, Edwardsville, KS; daughter, Ana R. (William) Mankin, Overland Park, KS; four granddaughters and five great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Stone Chapel; burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
The family requests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
