Alan Dean Hays, 69, passed away on Dec. 6, 2017. Alan was born Feb. 15, 1948 in Saint Joseph, MO and was raised by Brookings "Monty" and Gertrude Montgomery. Alan is survived by his wife, Kathy, children, Tina (David) LaFon, Jeremy (Amy) Hays, four grandchildren, Brooklyn, Emma, Jack and Cole. Alan was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey in 2006.
A Visitation is set for 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM, Mon., Dec. 11, 2017 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, KS 66203. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 AM, Tues., Dec. 12, 2017 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 11300 W. 103rd St., OP, KS 66214. Entombment will take place at Resurrection Catholic Mausoleum in Lenexa, KS.
