Patricia A. Schmidt, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away October 17, 2013. Patricia was born April 13, 1934, in Seward, Nebraska, to Bernard and Alice (Miller) Walsh.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Edwin F. Schmidt and their seven children, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary Kay Mayfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
A visitation will be from 10:30-11:00 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2013, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Donations in Patricia's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
