Kevin Horst

Kevin Wayne Horst, 29, of Nevada, Missouri, formerly of Shawnee, Kansas, died December 2, 2010, in Nevada, Missouri.

Kevin was born in Overland Park, Kansas. He was an engineer for the Missouri - Northern Arkansas Railroad for the last 5 years. He loved to fish, hunt and took pride in his 1989 Camaro.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Susan Horst, a brother, Bryan Horst, a sister, Stacey King and a nephew, Brady King, all of Shawnee, Kansas.

The family suggests that contributions be made to Johnson County Mental Health, 15118 S. Glenwood Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas 66223.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee where a Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
