Jim Hall passed away suddenly on October 17, 2023 at the age of 62. He was born in Larned, KS to Donald and Carol  on August 27, 1961 and was raised in Larned KS. A graduate of Larned High School in 1979, Jim was passionate about Woods and Carpentry. After attending high school, Jim worked in the oil fields and eventually went to work for Vratil Construction. He moved to Lawrence, KS in 1985 and worked for Martin Logan where he was able to use his exemplary carpentry skills. In 2005, Jim made the brave decision to return to college and graduated in 2007 with a Respiratory Therapist degree. He excelled in his career and worked his way up in the field, becoming an award winning account manager at Electromed Inc.  In addition to his accomplished career, Jim was an avid lover of the outdoors, especially hiking in  Colorado. Estes Park was a favorite place to visit, but he was happy to be hanging out at Clinton Lake as well. He was passionate about photography and took many photos on his adventures. Jim was also a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and helped too many to count, for over 34 years. He is survived by his mother, Carol Shoenthaler of Derby, KS, two sisters, Terry Haynes of Newton, KS, and Dana Stenzel (Mark) of Ness City, KS., two brothers, Darin (Joy) of Shawnee, KS., and Clint (Lizzetty) of Orlando FL., nieces; Jessica, Emily, Paige, Kelly, Carol, and Gwenivere,  nephews; Vaughn, Brady and Cooper, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald, step-father, Cliff Schoenthaler, his grandparents, and nephew Nathan of Portland Or. Jim loved life. He loved helping people. He knew that life was short and to live it to the fullest. He has left footprints on our hearts and we are better for knowing Jim Hall.
