Dorothy Christiansen, 92, Shawnee, KS passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, KS.
Dorothy was born Dec. 13, 1924 in El Dorado, KS to John and Minnie Straubinger. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John P. "Jack" Christiansen on Feb. 25, 2012. She is survived by her three sons, John, Blake and Bob, their spouses; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the funeral home. Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Olathe Hospice House, 15310 S. Marion St., Olathe, KS 66061.
